M*m Haifr, on temer siren.* Jake Mehl. one of the employes of the Malting company, had two fingers bad* ly smashed Tuesday. He was engaged in loading a car when a barrel «f brer fell on his hand with the mentioned re* suit. 1Mr? J. Guilford was agreoably surprised Monday Slight by a number of her friends on Grandview avenue. Th* evening was pleasantly spent in card playing. Head prises were won by Miss Edith Motsch and Mr. Herman Mehl; foot prizes were awarded to Miss Ida Walter and Mr. J. Guilford.
