aui aiiLcui^uu.Prohibitory Law ITeiripaperi.In giving a list of papers in this State, favorable to a Prohibitory Liquor Law, we omitted mention ing the Free Democrat and the Gospel Herald of this city, two of the most earnest and able advocates of the good cause in the State.The Temperance Union published here, and “Sporitoon,” printed at Brook ville, are both devoted wholly to the good cause. The Winchester Emblem and Vevay Retille are two other papers which we did not include.—Morning Journal.We are happy to find that the Journal has at length ascertained that the Free Democrat is favorable to a Prohibitory Liquor Law. We hardly knew how to account for the Journal’s omission in the enumeration it made a short time 6ince. We did uot know whether it considered the Free Democrat so far without the pale of “healthy organisations” that it was not worthy of notice, or that it is so much more common for Free Democratic papers to be on the right side, on all moral questions, than for Whig and Democratic papers, that it, thought it entirely superfluous to name it. Whatever may have been the reason, we are glad the Journal has discovered the fact that the Free Democrat is a Maine Law paper. We hope the Journal, and some of its Whig friends, too, will not lose sight of another fact, viz: that the votes of the Free Democracy of Indiana may be necessary to secure a Prohibitory Liquor Law.IITThe Maine Law will be enacted in Indiana;
