She skiied at Vail with a group of friends from Houston and really had aa rand time. Those youngsters really take to skiing. The viewfrom the top of the mountain is worth all the effort that It takes..... CALEDONIA and CHESTER MOORE are the proudpossessors of a new water color painter! try FRANK RAG I AND,and It Is really tremendous. Frank painted the MANTOOTH homestead just as It looked shortly before It was tom down, and he really did a fine Job. The only thing wrong with It is that the Moore's got it before the Maroneys did. DOME is the granddaughter of the late JUDGE MANTOOTH, builder of the home, and her mother, MRS. KESTER DENMAN, was reared in the home. It is really a good i-aiming ami holds fond memories formany people of an era now passed On the same buyingtrip to THE BOUTIQUE, they also purchased a painting try KATY LACKEY and a couple of miniature pictures by NATHALIE SCHELCER They really brightened uflt; the place with some fine pictures..... MRS. DON PATTERSON, better known to her many friends as MICKEY, was recently honored by being named Player of the Year by the LUFKIN DUPLICATE RRIDGE CLUB. The club meets each Friday morning at 10 a.®, at Home Savings loan in the Hospitality Room, and all duplicate players are welcome. MRS. BILLIE BOB C ARSON is the directorof the clut.
