WORSLEYWORSLEY, Dec. 23.—Worsley Christmas concert drew a large crowd to Worsley hall last night. A large majority of Worsley residents attended and Eureka River, Hines Creek and Clear Prairie were also represented.A good concert was presented by the pupils of Horseshoe Valley, Maryland and Dancing Hill schools. Much credit is due the supervisors, Miss L. Morgan, Miss P. Wolsley and C. Bask, for training the children. One of the best Christmas concerts ever presented at Marina school was held December 22 under direction of the supervisor, Miss Mary Zelnick. The end of another era has arrived for the Worsley district. For 20 years the mall from Hines Creek to Worsley has been conveyed by horses and wagon or sleigh. The last trip under this arrangement will be made this coming week by George Webster, who has been our mail carrier for eight years. January 2, 1951, Jim Connery takes over the contract for carrying mail between Hines Creek and Clear Prairie by motor transportation. Under the new agreement Worsley and Marina will get two malls weekly. outgoing mall leaving Tuesday and Saturday mornings and the incoming mail arriving the afternoons of the same days. Clear Prairie mail will still be once weekly, leaving from Marina for that point Wednesdays.’
