N. Lewis. The Conner received £7 and the latter21 votes. For assistant secretary, CharlesS. Shout received 23 and Solomon Maker20 votes. For Doorkeeper, Charles G. Warner received 27, and C. C. J. cquith 21 Votes.The persons elected were all “Democrat-'* and were elected on the first ballot.House—Here the results were directly opposite and just as decidedly in favor of the dominant party, or more so. For speaker,David Kilgore, the old Delaware Chief/'received 53 votes, and Andrew Humphreys 36 votes. For principal clerk, Mr. Levering, of Tippecanoe county, received 58, and Mr. Brown, of Scott, 36 votes. Mr. Levering had been elected out of the representativeslip* !
