Singles to meetTopic for group discussion for a 7 p.m. meeting Saturday of the Spiritual Life Singles SLS will be “A Single Person’s Identity,” based on a discovery paper by John Fischer. Copies of the paper will be available at the meeting, to be held in the fireside room of the First Church of God, 928 Sturm Ave.Cider and coffee will be provided at the meeting. Members attending are to bring donuts and a single friend, according to the president, Virginia Marable.Scheduled meeting for Jan. 24 at 6:30 p.m. will be a potluck dinner in the church fireside room. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Neil Roth, counselor from Walla Walla Community College. He and his wife, JoAnn, will also present a cello-piano duet.SLS is a non-denominational group open to all single adults — those who have not married or are widowed, divorced or separated.
