Keynoters Toastmaster Club held its initial dinner-meeting of the year Wednesday evening at the Elks Club.Jacob R. Griedanus was toastmaster and Louis J. Becker served as topic-master. Presiding as evalumaster was Arnold J. Stuyvesant Jr.. who presented a newly-devised method of speech evaluation.Speakers in competition forj the club trophy were LeRoy ; Ausse, Fred Beckman, Ralph Henkes, C. It. Nicolazzo and Edward Schuch. Winners were Ausse and Schuch who will share the trophy until the next I competitive meeting.During the business session, William Butler was elected educational vice president to replace Richard N. Harrington who recently resigned.Plans were announced for a joint dinner meeting of the two Kenosha Toastmasters Clubs on Feb. 6, by Robert Prim, committee chairman. Supplementary remarks on plans and purposes of the meeting were offered by Arthur Oleson, assistant area governor of District Nine, Toastmasters International.Speakers to represent the | Keynoters Club at the annualarea speech contest in March were named. Elimination contests will be held on Jan. 22 and Feb. 19 with previous trophy winners of the last eight meet-ings.Contestants will include Ausse, William U. Zievers, Stuyvesant Jr., Butler, Schuch, Chester Hollenbeck, Henkes, Charles C. Teising, Becker and Griedanus. I
