—George Eagleson sends The Bee a copy of the Boise, Idaho, Statesman, with an article marked therein telling of the fact that the temperature there was “64 above zero’* on one of the days that Iowa was shivering with frigid blasts. It is a pleasure to read about such localities, particularly when we are shoveling in 20 pounds of “Boone lump” and, from the same mess, carrying out 40 pounds of ashes and pig iron.
