Mrs. Joeeph Kern visited her daughter, Mrs. J RSmith, Tuesday Mrs. S. W.Veatcb has returned from a visit with her daughter, Mrs. Sherman! Callahan, near Dark Hollow Mrs. E.R. Burton is able to be up again after a severe attack of neuralgia.. ..Willard Miller, of Trippietcn, was here Tuesday. Daniel Bhackier, Jr., wasthe guest of bis brother Monday 1 .. .Dr. E F. A. last Wednesday Digbvwas a grand success.... P. H. Lynn returned to Linton, Thursday, after an extended visit with relatives and frlt;ends at this place....A party of little folks surprised Lowell Boyd Tuesday night. Tuesday was Master Lowell’s 11th birthday. Those present were: Glad efch Ferguson, Mandie Jobes, Lora Hackler, Mary Veatch.Flora Daugherty, Ona Harris, Jessie and Ira McCartly; Messrs. Elmer Jones, Everett and Andrew Hears, Thomas Kern, Cecil Boyd, Harry Quackenbushtnd Ben Malott. Refreshments of popcorn balls, candy, apples and cake were served. They passed the evening very pleasantly until 9 o’clock, when all re *urned home wishing Lowell many more happy birthdays.
