G. Burns of Rockwell City rend “Green Pastures. Mrs. Burns gave a wonderful interpretation of this play to an attentativc audience. This modern play by Marc Connolly expresses the religious faith of the Negro.The Missionary circle of the Christian church will meet with Mrs. N. E. Hendricks next Tuesday. Mrs. William Dunlvan will have charge of the Icayn.Supt. and Mrs. Anama spent the holidays with Mrs. Anama’s family at i Woolstock and with Mr. Anama’s parents at Rock Valley. They returned to Scranton Sunday afternoon.Master John and Master William Lewis Phillips spent the holidays with their grandparents. Mr. and Mrs, William Dunlvan. William Lewis has returned to finish his school work while staying with his paternal grandparents at Henry, 111. John will enter school in Scranton after the vacation.Mrs, Aaron Garland has had as guests the past week her sister, Genevieve Underwood of St. Cloud, and Miss Underwood’s friend, Lowell Smoots of Little Falls, Minn.
