Miss Nellie Porter, a daughter of Gh N. Porter, of this city, who is now studying medicine in a collage in Knoxville, Tenn., has written a letter to her father m which she tells of a hre that destroyed » large portion of the building occupied by the female students Mauy of the pupils lost all their wearing apparel and everything else that was m their rooms fit the time. She was among the more fortunate ones.
