He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II He was presently employed as an engraver for Collins Radio Caompany in Cedar Rapids He was preceded in death by his father, a son, and a brother Survivors include his mother; a son, Mark Givens, Roone; two daughters, Mrs David (Darcy) Mabe, Boone, and Donna Givens, Boone; one brother. Mike Givens, Boone; two sisters. Mrs. Frank (Mary Pepper, Gilbert, and Mrs. Eddie (Nancy Manthos, Dak Ridge. Tenn ; and one granddaughterFuneral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 6, at 10 a m , at the Sehroeder Funeral Home.
