Triple A 4-H Clubm■lt;$Ai-Holds Recent1 Holiday MeetingMany demonstrations were given at the Triple A 4-H holiday meeting recently at the Oak Lawn townhall.Kelvin Garvey gave as his forestry topic a talk on ‘ Planting a Tree”; Vincent Franzen, spoke on, “Shop” and told how to make an‘SOS’. Pam Paulson and LindaWittwer who are in the food preparation course talked to the members about ‘‘Cold Weather Snacks”.Pam Tusler who takes food preparation gave a project talk on“A Swedish Dessert”.Billy Olsen and Darrell Wold gave talks on “Shrubs for Minnesota Homes”.The annual Christmas party was held with carols sung by the mem-j bers. Vincent Franzen played the accordion. Mrs. Dan Peterson,! ! gave a reading. During the social j evening the members danced and j played games.During the vacation holiday theclub held a skating party.The topic of the January 20meeting will be on “Health”.* * *i
