The hat and cap carnival a$ the West End skating rink New Year’s night met with success, a great many society people being present, and each wearing a hat. Some were tall, otners small, while the majority were pretty. A prise was given to each lady and gentlemen wear- J ing the tallest, smallest, etc., hat or cap.
