Film Shown Lions ClubGeorge Flint, of the Ohio Power Co., presented a film on; the “Kyger” end “Clifty electric plant* erected along the Ohio River to supply electric power to the atomic plant near Portsmouth, at the Mondays noon meeting of the Cambridge Lions Clph at the Berwick Ho-j tel.The film described various steps taken in the construction of the two plants and gave reasons for building them.It was explained that the atomic plant was located in i Ohio due to the state’s natural \ resources, mainly water and coal. IHarold Gillespie, second vice-president, conducted the business session and Jack LePage was the winner of the free meal. jRoger Gadd, manager of the Cambridge City Loan office, was given a farewell by the club as he attended his last meeting here.
