CHARTER MEMBERS attending the 41st anniversary celebration of the Altrusa Club were Mrs. Morna Knipe, Miss Mabel Noble, Miss Mazie Ingels and Miss Frieda Haseltine.41st onniversoryThe 41st anniversary of the Altrusa Club was celebrated atthe Hotel Frances.Active charter members present were given a scroll and a rosebud in recognition of their service to the club. Mrs. E.O. Seagrave made the presentations to Miss Frieda Haseltineand Miss Mazie Ingles.A scroll and rosebud was also presented to Mrs. T.L. Knipe, past international president.Miss Mabel H. Noble, inactive charter member, was also present at the meeting.Mrs. Ruth Hammentree, owner and founder of Quick Film Service, Logansport, was guest speaker at the meeting. Unless a woman is gifted in the arts and is educated, she is subjected to hard labor.Mrs. Anne May Hamilton, president, greeted membersand guests. The invocation was given by Mrs. T.L. Knipe.Mmes. Edward Johnson,E.O. Seagrave, Ruth Myers and Ethallonda Strohl assisted Mrs. Ernest W. Faucett, program chairman.The Altrusa colors of blue and white were the theme of the decorations. The speakers table was centered with a floral piece of red, white and blue chrysanthemums.
