Talent Show by Karen Stevens “Talent Scouts A Go-Go” was the title of the talent show sponsored by the Student Council at the Bellwood-Antis High School auditorium on Feb. 25. Masters of ceremonies were Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, alias Joyce Brooks and Ronnie Rossi. They introduced such well-known greats as Moony and Cher”, Jeff Peoples and Patty Nearhoof; ‘‘Phyllis Diller*' - Rose Ann Packa-nowski; “Jackie Gleason1* with his glamour girls - Tim Smith, Donna Nelson and Diane Johnson; Zsa Zsa Gabor - Bonnie Miller.The 4 Vibrations*’ began the entertainment by playing “Jea-nie Take A Ride” and “A Long Tall Texan'*, Rhinehart Rep-logle at the organ, Dave Ditz-ler at the drums and Larry Lamar and Melvin Poorman playing guitars were the members ol the band. Susan Glover then sang “Downtown”, followed by Patty Stange dancing the ballet.“Meditation** was played by Carol Van Tries on the piano and Karen Rogers played “Never on Sunday on the accordion.MI Wonder Why** was sung by Cathy Benn and Valerie Sharer, accompanied by Louis Lambert. Susan Pasquino and Eleanor Ermin twirled batons and Barbara Hauenstine sang “I Should Have Known Better .Zoe Close played the “Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2** on the piano.The “Montereys” presented “Barbara Ann and “Valerie** with Charles Potts as the singer, Dennis and Don McClellan at the guitars and Dennis Litz played the ofgan while Chris Edmiston played the drums. As a finale, the two bands combined to play “I Got A Woman** while the “Go-Go** girls danced on the stage.The show was sponsored by the breakfast cereal Slimy Snakes and Alka Seltzer.
