Mrs. Alice HendersonMrs. Alice Henderson, wife of “Cash” Henderson, was born in Wabash township, Tippecanoe county, December 4, 1869; departed this life February 23, 1918. Mrs. Henderson suffered a stroke of paralysis on the 6th of last December and gradually became weaker until death claimed her last Saturday. She was the daughter of F. C. and M. J. Jackson. The deceased was married to W. C. Henderson March 6, 18S6. She is survived by the husband and four children, William Lee. Harry, Louis Muriel and Walter, all residents of Carroll* county. However, Harry is now with the United States army stationed at Camp Taylor. She is also survived by the father, F. C. Jackson, of Lafayette, and brothers and sisters.Mrs. Henderson became a member• of the Baptist church of Badger Grove some twenty years ago and remained a true Christian woman until death. She was most devoted to her family, a good neighbor and a true friend. Her sympathetic helpfulness was a marked characteristic of her beautiful character. She remained most patient through her suffering, and met death in Christian fortitude. She leaves a host of friends to mourn their loss; and, while we are made sad, we extend our sincerest sympathy to the family whose loss is much greater and sorrow much deeper than ours.Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. E. P. Day at the farm home,• four miles west of this city, on Monday, and interment made at the Hebron cemetery.
