Art show to be photo displayTWIN FALLS — The 5th annual Art Show of the Twin Falls Public Library will be a photography display.Linda Parkinson of the library staff said the show is open to professional, semi-professional and amateur photographe rs. Up to 1300 in purchase awards will be made to photographers from the eight Magic Valley counties, Parkinson said, and their winning photography will be on permanent display in the local library.Information on the April entry dates and other details of the show and contest are available at the Twin Fails Public Library or any regional library in Magic Valley.T 8 display will be from April 21 through May 10 during regular library hours. Peter Vincent of Pocatello will be the Juror for the 1980 photographyshow.Earlier annual shows have featured painting, sculpture, junior art, pottery and fabric art.Parkinson said entries must be taken to any regional library o; or before April 15. Judging will be completed April 19, and work may be picked up at the Twin Falls Library at 5:30 p.m. May 10.All w rk must be matted or dry mounted, suitable for hanging. It is suggested prints be 8 by 10 inches,although they may be as small as 5 by 7 inches.Residents from the eight Magic Valley counties are eligible to enter. Eacli participant may submit three to five works for Judging in each of the creative or general categories. Only original work is acceptableand no classroom work, copie j work, or work doneunder instruction will be accepted. Work must have been done within the past five years.
