Dinnerfollowed a “no-host” cocktail hour with entertainment provided by the Marty Heim Trio and the popular Las Vegas Ambassadors, under the direction of Norman Kaye and Richie Astrone.Iture operation of the UnitedMaster of Ceremonies,[ Paul McDermott, kept theIaffair moving along, introducing various volunteer, officers. James Cashman, Jr., 1969 Fall Campaign Chairman, presented plaques todivision leaders, men whohad so ably assisted in bringing the campaign to its successful conclusion.Speaker of the evening wasFund President Walter L.Fritzpatrick, who emphasizedthe important role that thenewly established PlanningDivision, under the chair-Fund. He further stated that all but two of the 26 member agencies had conformed to the “Standards of Accounting and Financial Reporting.” Prior to closing his remarks,Fitzpatrick made a special award to retiring Campaign Chairman James Cashman, Jr. and his Associate Chairman Harley E. Harmon, who will be the Campaign Chairman for the 1970 Fall Campaign .A Nominating CommitteeReport was presented by Committee Chairman Gaylord K. Prather.
