Postal Clerks, Wives At Dinner PartyA patriotic decorative scheme was featured in appointments for the banquet given by the Postal Clerks’ auxiliary, honoring the husbands, Tuesday evening at the Edna Mae Hedquist home.Red carnations centered the long table, while at either end were red tapeys.. George Washington favors and American flags were also employee!*Weston Brown sang two solos, accompanied by Miss Spackman, and two readings were given by Miss Virginia Meiling of the B.Y.U. Public Service bureau. Mrs. Reed Brown, who had the program in charge, presided.After dinner, tables were arranged for rook and Chinese checkers. Mrs. Kenneth Bailey and Mrs. La Var Christensen won the rook prizes, while the favors for checkers went to Ray Green and Mrs. J. R. Hodson.In attendance were Postmaster and Mrs. J. W. Dangerfield, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Me Adam, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Green, Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bailey, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Hodson, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Brcwn. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rasmussen, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hoover and Mr. and Mrs. Prod Cooper.Mrs. Cooper was chairman on arrangements, assisted by Mrs. Reed Brown and Mrs. J. R. Hod-json.
