SCHOOL PROPERTY ESTIMATE.The aggregate . value of school , buildings belonging to Washington township amounts to $23,800. The information was derived from the re* 1 port of Trustee Grant eKith of this , township, who, in Ills inventory of township property to be forwarded i to the state board of accounts at In* . dianapolis, the first of the kind ever \ required, compiled information regarding the value of all the property owned by the township.There are seventeen buildings in the township and they range in value from $50 to $10,000. The total enrollment is 7IS,, the consolidated building leading with 170 pupils, and Prairie school, the only negro school in the township, having the smallest attendance, ten. All the schools, with the exception of the Nutter are brick and it is a frame structure. To it also belongs the distinction being the oldest school house in the township.
