NEW ALTON SIU DENTAL CLINIC — An architect's rendering of the new clinical facility planned for the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton. The new facility, estimated to cost about SSmillion, will house clinics and support areas, providing a total of 72dental operatories. The new building will replace a 1940 barracks type building on Annex Street on the former campus of Shurtleff College. Construction may be under way by late summer.(SIUE Photo by Charles H. Cox)
