and family and Wm, Howe, Sr.Mr. Lasher had stated at some time previous that he couldn’t be fooled, but by the clever management of his wife and others they “toled” him away from home until all had gathered at his home and prepared dinner. Then he returned home and found every room of his house (which is not small) as full of people as a sardine box. Dinner was then served, followed by beer and various games. Then all started for home wishing Mr. Lasher forty more birthdays which would make a hundred.
