Alexander. Sturgeon.Alexander Sturgeon is said to be tbe oldest citizen in Brown county. He was born in April 1824 on what is known as the Minor farm on Schonar Creek. He will be 71 years of age in April. His father moved to this county about 1820. Mr. Sturgean has has been married three times was blessed with 11 children, eight of whom are still liv* ing. He was a soldier in the Mexican war, serving one year, and was rejected from service in the late war on account of a crippltd hand. He is enjoying good health and expects to reside in old Brown the rest of his days.—Brown County Democrat.
