Signs of An EarlySpring* Say the (Iowa)Mesquakie IndiansIndian hunters and trappers from the Tama reservation, who were in Eldora Tuesday, said the summer - like fall and winter months in central Iowa this season came true to an Indian prophesy made early last fall and that the unusual weather thus far this winter would be followed by an early spring. The reservation representatives had been hunting and trapping this fall on the South Fork creek, southwest of Eldora about four miles.
