A surprise birthday dinner was made Sunday for A. J. Drew at his home in Ayrshire. He is 74 years old and enjoyed the day very much, although he has been in poor health all winter. A big dinner was set at the noon hour. Those present were Willis Minnis and wife, George Pirkle and wife, Lon Davis and family, Mrs. Susan Marshall, Mrs. Lou Hurt, Andy Drew and family, 01 Hardin and family, Roy Marshall and family. Wilson Drew and family, John Lagle and family, UUie Pirkle and family, Samuel Lagle, Bet-tie Chesser, Nellie Pirkle, Rissie Pirkle and Mrs. Leonard Pirkle.
