Spot checks in individual communities clearly indicated that juvenile delinquency among newspaperboys is almost non-existent. The newspaperboy hasn't time to get into troubie. He finds it fun to hold a job. earn money and learn to meet people.He may not be aware of it. but he s developing individualism and learning to accept responsibility. Wellsville. have been selected as our first outstanding carriers.John is 17 years old and is a sophomore at Wellsville High He has been delivering the Wellsville Daily Reporter for 4 years. He currently is delivering on West State. Nelson Avenue. South Highland, the top of Pine Street, and Pine Hill Drive When asked what he likes best about delivering papers he said. T enjoy talking to the ladies when I collect.”John is an active member of FFA and hopes one day to become a baker Bill Newton has been delivering the Reporter for 3 years on Madison Street. Scott Avenue. Ellis Heights, and Cummings Place. Bill thinks that the money he earns is worth all the hard work.He is 1 5 years of age and is a ninth grader at Wellsville High.
