HERBERT H. DICKER AND C. E. MELTONPlaque honors C. E. MeltonC. E. Melton, who retired in December after serving 45 years as a director for the Federal Land Bank Association here, was honored by members of the Board at their 2 o’clock meeting Friday afternoon. Herbert H. Decker, president of the Federal Land Bank of Houston, presented Melton with a plaque in appreciation for the years of service he had given t h e firm.oKiir^h JinH spr-vice club member, is a former City Commissioner of McKinney; member of the Lions Club, and First ‘Chris-ian Church where he taught a Sunday School class for many years and served m various offices of the church and its organizations. He has been in the real estate and insurance business here and also looks after farming interests.The Federal Land Bank Association in McKinney, of which Worley Smithis manager, serves Collin, Dallas, Hunt and Rockwall counties. Dan Hager of Greenville is assistant manager and James M. Blalock of Tyler is regional manager.Members of the Board of Directors are Jim F. Bland of Greenville, president; Carl Cox of McKinney, vice president; J. E. Newman, Garland; H. B. Lolland, Rockwall; J. M. Whis-enant, McKinney and T. M. Rabb of Greenville.
