uvrj*Jury’s Verdict Favors DefendantAttorney Jay L. Spaulding wonanother case in the Circuit courtthis week, when a jury in the $15,-000 damage suit of Mrs. Susie Hayward vs. Andrew Pierson returneda verdict for the defendant. Mrs. Hayward sought to recover damages for injuries received when her automobile was struck by a car driven by Mr. Pierson on the Princeton-Tiskihva road in December, 1920.The case went to the jury Wednesday afternoon and at bed time the vote stood ten to two for tin* defendant. About 9 o’clock Thursday morning, the two holding out were won over and a verdict returned to Judge Davis.
