Hills families of Orem are combining their talents to present a recital composed entirely of the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.The musical event will be at 8 p.m. on Friday in the Madsen Recital Hall of the Harris Fine Arts Center at Brigham Young University. The concert isWight, left, flute; Don Peterson, vid Randall, clarinet; Darrel 3boc, and Glenn Williams,being performed in recognition of the National Federation of Music Club's request for concerts of famous musicians during February•‘Mozart was born in 1756, commented Mrs. Helen Bunnell Weeks, one of the performers, who added even though he was bom 220 years ago. his music is as fresh and inspiring as the day it was written.Mrs. Weeks will sing several concert arias and will be joined by her daughter Rosanna Weeks who will play flute obligato for L’amcrao. sara Cbsante. Miss Weeks will later sing two arias Ridente la Calma and Batti. Batti. 0 Bel Masctlo.Highlight of the evening is planned to be Mozart's K. 5C5 Ch’io mi scordi di te, written for one of his leading ladies with whom he fell in love.Richard Weeks will sing UnBacio di Mano. The three family singers will then sing two Mozart trios.In the final number Laudate Dominum, Mrs. Weeks will be joined by six of her nine children, singing Praise to God. In addition to Richard. Rosanna. Allyson Weeks, Melody Evans. Merrie Hudson and Marchclle Duncan will perform.Accompanying the singers will be Pauline Beard Hills and herdaughter Leslie Ann Hills.Mrs. Weeks has been active in choral work throughout her adult life. She sang with the International Relief Society Singing Mothers Chorus under the direction of Dr. Florence Jeppcrson Madsen, her first teacher. For the past five years she has been a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Mrs Weeks is also the musical director and conductor of the Chauntenetle Ladies Chorus.'Returning'ExtendsProductionPerformance dates have been extended for ‘•Returning, the story of a young Mormon couple facing persecution and violence during the late Nauvoo period of the LDS Church, which is playing in the BYU Marge’.ls Arena Theater.PAULINE HILLS and her daughter Leslie Ann Hills, will accompany the Clyde Weeks family in a Mozartconcert on Friday at 8 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall at Brigham Young University.
