SOCIETY NOTESV1*The 6ptimi / Class of the Presbyterian Sunday school entertained members of the O. B. C. and E, T. C;-classes with a 1 o'clock luncheon in the dining room of the church Tuesday. The room and table decorations were in keeping with St. Valentine’s day. Mrs J. S. Kurflss Wednes- I day afternoon, the occasion being a one o’clock luncheon for the club. The feature of the meeting was a pantomime given by Mesdames F. A. Du-phorne, F C. Walker. W. B. Simpson and N. K. Coit. Contests were enjoyed j for which the favors were awarded to Mrs. Fay Ewing. Mrs. G. B. Ridgway and at the conclusion a valentine box was also an entertaining feature.InThe Athena Club, a newly organized Junior Federated Club, was pleasantly entertained by Miss Nan Lou Sheets Tuesday evening. The program on Classical Mythology was as follows: Mythology, Its Origin and - Purpose —Miss Arline Bain. ,Story 6f Mythological Characters^-Miss Helen Leabhart and Miss LvdiaMiss Grace Edgmon of 116 East John street, entertained the memben His | of the Methodist church choir, the Linn Quartet and a number of the41Y v I V ^ ** * ‘ \members of the church including Rev C. H. Law and family, Wednesday evening, at a 6:30 o’clock cafeteria dinner. During the evening selections from the Linn Quartet and the choir were much enjoyed.
