OLD MAIDS CONVENTIONThe YWA of the First BaptistChurch, Biloxi, held its annual fun session, the Old Maids Convention, Thursday night, in the home ofMr. and Mrs. Frank Warnock, West Beach. Included among the invited guests were church lead-hers, former members and a num--jber of young men in the church[(activities.The ten members, nine of them . in somber black and one in red, 5 marched into the large living room, I took their places and proceeded to r transact convention business, to * the amusement of the spectators. » The member who had become en-I gaged during the year, was excluded from membership.it A womanless wedding was .'staged by the men attending, fol-r j lowed by singing. Refreshments of, punch, open face sandwiches,i cookies and candy were served to s'the guests. The red and white -i colors of valentine were featured i, in the decorations, with countless broken hearts decking the walls land furnishings.»I Members participating were: - Linda Tarbutton, president; Doris itHart, secretary; Jocelyn and Jo .
