Jack Cantrell, 119 West 19th, Wellington, was named “Elk Of The Year” by the Wellington Elks Lodge No. 1167 at a regular lodge meeting Tuesday night.This is the seventh year the local Elks Lodge has selected amember for this honor. The Elk | of the Year is picked from ! members, not an officer, of , lodge who has given oustanding ; service to the lodge and club.Cantrell was picked for his outstanding service and supporting all the club’s programs. !He helped organize and carry i on the Thursday night lodge feed night where lodge members cook and serve dinners.A letter of recognition of the j hmor was presented to Cantrell j by Llovd Kemp, exalted ruler of the lodge.
