When Sanford Blackint on died he left to his wife $30,000 besides the use of the Blackinton residence and furnishings, and the carriages ar.d hoi ses, also the use of the two houses located above Iho Black inton house on East Mein street, and the use of a house hi Els chin ton during her life-time. Of the fCO,COO Mrs. Blackinton had given away ! betwecu ?25,0Q0 and ?3O,C00, and the will disposes of the balance, the exact amount j of which wus not known. She remembers in spccinl iegecies her husband's relatives an v eil as her own, numbering in all about thirty, in amounts ranging from $250 to $1,000 each. She gives to the Baptist Foreign Missionary Eociety, $2,000; to the American Baptist Homo Missionary society, $2,CG0; to the Massachusetts Baptist convention, $2,000, which society is organized to help feeble churches in this state. To the trustees of the Baptist church is left in trust $4,000. One-half of the income of that amount is to be added to the income of the fund left by Sanford Blackinton to be distributed among the poor of the church and Bociety-The other half of the income of the $4,000 is to be ined for current expenses of the church and applied toward the rental of a jxwintbe church to be known as the ! “Hlackinton pew,” and which is to be furnished with books needed in the service and to be fcr the especial use of strangers. To Orlando Ottman, the coachman, and to Miss Martha Hughes, tlieservanti $1C0 each is given. All the residue of the estate is to be equally divided among Mrs-Marietta Bailey of Brook!jn, N.
