The two hostesses, Julie - (Mrs. James) Sneed, and Peggy (Mrs. Leonard) Berg, were at opposite sides of the fashion world — Peggy in a while satin blouse and dark red, crushed velvet pants that suited her beautifully, and Julie in an-empire style maxi with dainty floral print and a low,- scooped neckline,The new Iiot pants were.eye catching on a slim and beautiful stranger — pants suits were ev« verywhere, and Jonne Broder. was outstanding in pure white cur Jed wig, white satin blouse and black satin knickers.Not that the men were outdone. The new male flair for fashion was evident — one pair of trous-*ers in while had five inch flowers printed in red, blue, yellow and green, and was worn with a perfectly conservative, dark jacket.Seeing the interest.of the crowd in the sculp* lures shown, you would know that the continuing trend really is to the dimensional in art.
