It is said 01 that there are in the United States overtwo hundred fraternal, benevolent social, insurance, political, religious and other secret organizations. We cannot vouch for the correctness of the figures, hut t he following are given as the approximate statistics of the membersliip of some of|the most prominent organizations in tliis country;Tree Masons, 000,000; Odd Fellows, 035,000; Grand ' Army of Republic, 3B9,000; Knights of Pythias, 310,000; Good Templars, 200,592; Ancient Order of United Workmen, 161,872; Knights of Honor, 124,756; Royal Arcanum, 80,000; Improved O. It. M., 64,000; American Legion, 61,664; Knights and Ladies of Honor, 4.6,000; Boris of Vetcr-ans, 47.000; Ancient order of Foresters, 3a ,520'Daughters of ltobokah, 33,658; Knights of the Golden Eagle, 30,000; and the Order of Chosen Friends, 20,291.
