Last year he was deputy grand master and was advanced according to custom. Mr. Gallagher is prominent in social and busi- ( ness life and is a lawyer of high standing, j lie enlisted in 1SG4, when less than 13 years of age, as a drummer boy and is a member of the G. A. R.The farm near Beaver, Pa., purchased , some years ago as a site for a Masonic university has been sold for residential , purposes, the university project being abandoned.
