An Excellent Bond.It was predicted by many that Al. Mitcb-em, the Republican colored man whom the Council elected to dig graves in the Colored Cemetery, could not give bond in the sum of $5U0. The prediction comes to nanght, for he has filed his bond, and several of our beet citizens bold themselves responsible for the faithful performance of the duties imposed upon him. The names are Paul Finley, Henry Clay, Pre6ton Finley, Geo. Burns —all colored, and R. G. McCulloeb, Louis Hartman and Elizabeth Port man— white.
