Edward Olivercelebrates100th birthdayfEdward Oliver, a resident of the Sodonia Nursing Home, Fulton, recently celebrated his 100th birthday with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles English of Holts Summit, and other close friends.Mr. Oliver was born Feb. 2, 1871, in Callaway County, where he has lived most o:! his life.Oliver, \vhose father lived to the age of 105, was born on a farm in the Holts Summit area. In 1038, he moved to Jefferson City where he resided with Mr. and Mrs. English, until last October.Mr. Oliver has another daughter, Mrs. Orva Reynolds, Kansas City.Mr. Oliver was the only boy In a family of nine children. The second youngest, he is the only surviving one.
