Two-Year CurriculumMy NeighborsScholarships Support 14NursingramStudentsA $1,000 annual grant recently received from the medical staff of St. James hospital, Chicago Heights, by the Prairie State Nursing School Scholarship foundation will make possible the continued support of eight full scholarship students in the freshman class and six in the sophomore class, the Citizen’s Advisory committee announcedrecently.The two-year associate degree program in nursing is designed to prepare men and women for careers as registered nurses.Students, who obtain clinical experience in nursing at hospitals and clinics in the school district, are eligible, upon graduation, to take state board examinations and receive an RN degree.*FRESHMEN currently holding scholarships, and the high schools from which they graduated are; Barbara Berchem,Bloom high school; Carole Brandt, Bloom; Henrine Johnson, Bloom; Velma Nardoni, Crab Orchard Community high school, Salem, 111. Jacqueline Pfafl, Crete-Monee high school; Darlene Hefner (Chicago Heights Kiwanis scholarship) Washington high school, Sioux Falls, S. D., and Katherine Jer-maczonak (Cohen foundation scholarship,.
