CLUB NEWSThe Civics class of the 9th grade section 1. organized a Citizenship Club Friday. February 29. under the supervision of Mrs. M. J. Clark. The officers are as follows:President Gilbert Mason; Vice-President. Hattie Causey; Secretary, Rachel A. Vincent; Assistant Secretary, Esther M. Johnson; Treasurer, Annie P. Byrd; News Reporter. Edith Campbell; Chairman of Social Committee. Charlie Magee.The aims of this club are: “To make the better best” and “To do unto others as you would have them to do unto you.” the motto of the club is: “Be prepared at all times.” You will be hearing from this club often.The Citizenship Club of the seventh grade section two is now making plans for its spring and summer activities. Each member of the class is going to have a Victory Garden at his home. From time to time the club will make visits and view many of the gardens.
