D’Luxe Club News ]BY ULYSSES B. KNOWLINThe De Luxe club met Tuesday night at the home of Mr. John Whittier, 1532 Brown-st.The club will give a party Feb. 14, at the home of Mr. Ulysses B. Knowlin, Apt. 1, 223 W. Water-st. It will be a party for members and their girl friends. The members -also wish—to—invite the basketball team and their company. The next meeting will be held Tuesday at the homo of Willis Alexander, 836 S. Depot-st,A benefit basketball game will he played for St. Stephen’s Circle No. 7.This game was first booked for the Second Baptist church. It will be played Feb. 14 with Oberlin.Rev. Collins spent the past week with his wife and daughter in Toledo. Rev. Collins reports his wife getting along nicely.Leroy Johnson, Eugeno Burns, Willis Alexander, Prince Alexander and Mr. and Mrs. John Whittier visited friends in Lorain Friday night.Mrs. Beatrice Dart on is ill at her home at 223 W. Water-st,Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Seavers are home from their trip.Mr, and Mrs. Freddie Seavers are home from their trip.Eddie Bryant is in New York working for a brother.The Stewards Board of St. Stephen's church, met Monday nightat the home of Mrs. Bryant.Circle No. 7 met Tuesday nightat the home of Mr. Lattimore.Do you know why—Mr. Henry Seavers always wants to be excused from club meeting before the club adjourns?
