The Baptist Woman's Auxiliary met Monday, Feb. 2 in regular business session. It was decided to hold (our monthly market at F. K. Mitchell’s confectionery. Our first day will be Saturday, Feb. 7th. Every Baptist lady is expected to send some kind of food which will be sold at a reasonable price. Please remember the date and help us make this a success.appreciated. All present were in high glee, and after an hour spent in lively conversation interspersed with piano and Edison music, took their departure, expressing their hope that their next visit to the pastor and family might be in a bran new parsonage. Graves and family were followed home from prayer meeting last Wednesday evening by a large number of friends, and given a generous pounding, which they had justly deserved for some time, but had been postponed form time to time on account of sickness and inclement weather. It was a complete surprise but they soon recovered from the shock, and gave their friends a most hearty welcome, assuring them that their visit, also the stack of eatables, found on their dining table, were thankfully received and muchPPIJESThe C. W. B. M. Aux. of the Firet Christian Church met with Mrs. Hinton at her office, Monday afternoon at 2:30. Mrs. R. W. Walker was leader, and opened the meeting with a scripture reading, and prayer, led by Mrs. Kerschner. The subject studied was “The Healing of China”, papers were read by members, then a round table talk by all memberspresent was engaged in and waa pleasant and helpful to all. An election of officers was then held and resulted as follows: Mrs. R. W. Walker elected President; Mrs. Hinton,vice president; Mrs. Fulton, Secy.; Mre. Kerschner, treasurer; Mra.Frank Bowles and Mrs. Ura Embry took membership and were heartily welcomed. After adjournment refreshments of ice cream and cake were served.^
