The following are the offices* of this sterling organization:Joseph Oaten*, President; Win. Flfer, Y'ice President; M. N. Blonnt, Secretary; Wm. Gleason, Treasurer.Last night Concordia Ilall wo* crowded with many beautiful ladies. I esides guests from the Irish Literary Catholic Benevolent and Hibernian Societies, to participate in the Anniversary Ball given by this Society. Prof. Warm's Orchestra was in attendance and gave delightful music, while the nterfy throng enjoyed themselves exceedingly in the dance Nothing could have tended more to make this an enjova-ble occasion than the excellent manner in which everything was conducted.The floor malingers, who were Messrs. Thomas Nunan, A.IT Kinney William Roach, Henry Haney, Wm. Flfer, Peter Clarke, John Flynn and Thomas Corrigan, deserve great ere lit for the admirable way they Attended to the duties aligned them.Order of Dances.—1. 8t. Patrick's Grand March; 2. Home, Sweet Home.Among the pretty young ladles who lent their charms and smiles on this pleasant occasion, the admired of all admirers, were the lovely Misses Mary and Lizzie Connally and|Misa Eva Cody, who were among the most graceful danc- rs, Miss File Brown, of Opelika. Ala ; Misses Mary Kin ley, Lou Ella Kidd, Krtklne Clark, niece of Judge Krsklne, of the U 8. Court. Miss Lena Gallagher, Mias Ida Moore, Misses Mary *nd Maggie Blount, Misses Mary and Emma Pettis, and a host of others whose names we did not learn.All seemed delighted, and at a late hour we left the hall fully impressed with the Idea that this so ciety has taken the lultiatory step in the right di rection to encourage the noble and commendable cause of temperance, soon to be followed by others who, like themselves, arepartng no efforts to bring anout that much-needed reform in the social circle,by offering Inducements which are both pleasant and honorable This is the first Temperance Ball ever held In Atlanta, Wa hope that the great cause this society advocates will be strengthened thereby, and Its Influences felt and extended throughout the length and breadth oftfais city and State.CoiI29f4nccoii12?IneGr
