Rice was the character “Mustard” in the singing and comedy team of Mustard and Gravy* which began in HKW with Ernest Stokes of Wilson.time“RigtheWCEC Program Director Sammy Bland announced Rice’s program this week. “The Mustard Show” will fill the slot filled by Bland’s Station Musical Hall” for past eight years.Rice will play country music and do commercials from his “country kitchen” studio in Wilson. Bland said. Faro will be a character on the show. Rice will plav the part of Faro.Rice has stopped his 31-year-old show on Radio Station WGTM in Wilson in order to broadcast on WCEC.
