Youth Week For■ • •Local Church Is StartedWesleyan Youth Week, sponsor* ed by the Wesleyan Methodist Church in conjunction with inter* denominational National Youth Week, was started with a banquet at the YWCA Monday night, lt;Clarence Hoffman* instructor of religion at Marion College* Marion, Ihd, was [guest speaker at the for*mal banquet which was 'attendedby 46 young people of the church. Entertainment consisted of din* tier music by Miss Shirley John* son and Miss Elizabeth Hersey on piano and violin. A skit entitled •“The Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter** was given by Mr. and Mrs. Glen Wieczorek, Mr* and Mrs. Gene Malde, Cam Starr, Joyce Thompson* Mrs. Edward. Strand, and Ruth Hildebrandt.Other activities for Youth Week, which has for its theme “Faith Conquers**, are a “Trip to the Holy Land** in slides by Hoffman at 9:30 p. m, Friday, and evangelistic services each night at; 7:45.'
