01Youth Week For Local Church Is StartedWesleyan Youth Week, sponsor* ed by the Wesleyan Methodist Church in conjunction with interdenominational National Youth Week* was started with a banquet at the YWCA Monday night. ,C(;Clarence Hoffman* instructor of religion at Marion College, Marion, Irid, was;guest speaker at the formal banquet which was' attended by 46 young people of the church.Entertainment consisted of dinner music by Miss Shirley Johnson and Miss Elizabeth Hersey on piano and violin. A skit entitled ‘“The Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter was given by Mr. and Mrs. Glen Wieczorek, Mr* and Mrs. Gene Malde, Cam Starr, Joyce Thompson* Mrs. Edward. Strand,!“ and Ruth Hildebrandt.Other, activities for Youth Week* which has for its theme “Faith. Q Conquers0, are a “Trip ‘ to the Holy Land in slides by Hoffman at 9:30 p. m.
