New Paris News.Martin Shoup, an aged individual of tliis place, was last week conveyed to the county asylum by bis own request, where be will hereafter remain. He is about 90 years old and was once quite well to do.There has been quite an amount of petty theiving in our vicinity. It is now ascertained that it was carried on by home talent.Bev. Dunn, of near Benton, preached to our citizens last Sunday evening. His remarks were well received.A Mr. Cripe and Miss Groves are here visiting Miss Chloe Brothers.
