AN INTERESTING TRIAL.Suit Lasts Three Days fo Determine Who Is Entitled to Band Horn.Justice F.M. Taylor rendered his decision this morning that Ed. Blehard-son is entitled to the possession of the tuba on which he lias been playing in the AIgona cornet band. The trial which caused the verdict to be rendered lasted from Monday morning till last evening and was very inte re resting and full of difficult problems.Ed Richardson has been playing with the band more or less for the last ten years, the instrument he played being a fine large silver tuba. When he decided to locate at Britt about the first of September he took the tuba home with the intention it is claimed of taking it along with him. Some of the band boys sent an officer with a warrant, and seized the horn and brought it away; liichardson offering no resistance whatever. Ed claimed the horn us his, but other members of the band claimed it belonged to the band organization. The suit was to determine the matter. Harrington and Curtiss appeared for the organization and McMahon for Bi chard.son. Nearly three days were spent in examining the witnesses and the history of the A Igona band enterprise cropped out in conflicting statements.Sometime about the year 1870 the A Igona band was organized, the silver horns being purchased by funds donated by various citizens.
